Aformer judge in the US who was investigated for forwarding a racist email involving President Barack Obama may have sent hundreds of other inappropriate messages from his government account, it has emerged.

An investigation into the conduct of Richard Cebull found that he sent emails to personal and professional contacts containing derogatory remarks and jokes about women, religious faiths and ethnic minorities.

He has been issued with a public reprimand and ordered to complete training on judicial ethics and racial awareness.
