A man is being treated in hospital after a suspected shooting.
Officers were called to Westmuir Street in the east end of Glasgow at about 1.10pm today.
A police spokeswoman said: "We can confirm that a man has been taken to hospital with a suspected gunshot wound following an incident in Westmuir Street.
"Officers are at the scene and inquiries are continuing."
It is understood the injured man was targeted in the attack.
