Visitors to a botanic garden were surprised to see a snake among the trees and plants.
The 2ft California kingsnake was found in the warm palm house at the Glasgow Botanic Gardens in the west end. Staff called the SSPCA, who took the non-poisonous snake to its rehoming centre in Cardonald.
