A teenager has pleaded guilty to posting an offensive comment on Facebook in relation to the death of Mikaeel Kular in Scotland, according to a court official.
Warren Butler, aged 19, of Carlisle, Cumbria, admitted the charge of improper use of a communications network under section 127 of the Communications Act (2003) during a hearing at Aldershot Magistrates' Court.
The case was adjourned until March 11 at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court for sentence and Butler was released on conditional bail until then.
