Atop opposition leader has said protesters are ready to vacate Kiev City Hall which they have been occupying for nearly three months - if the government drops all charges against the demonstrators.

Last week, the last of the 234 protesters were released from jail as part of an amnesty.

Oleh Tyahnybok, head of the nationalist Svoboda party, said that the opposition is ready to vacate Kiev City Hall if criminal cases against demonstrators are dropped.

The protests erupted after president Viktor Yanukovych froze ties with the West and turned to Russia.
