The Outer Hebrides' main ferry had to cancel its sailings on its first day back after a lengthy refit when it broke down again.
Sailings of the Stornoway-Ullapool ferry MV Isle of Lewis were cancelled first by the weather and then "technical problems," believed to be connected to her rudder.
Ferry operator Caledonian Macbrayne apologised for the cancellations.
This morning's outward run from Stornoway has also been cancelled.
The ship's timetable was already disrupted by the weather but she had intended to sail from the mainland at 5.35pm last night.
The MV Isle of Lewis is nearly a week late in returning from her annual overhaul in a Liverpool dry dock after a decision to replace her turbo chargers.
