AN MSP who lost his daughter to anorexia is leading a new push for early intervention and greater support for families affected by eating disorders.
Dennis Robertson, the MSP for Aberdeenshire West, has been a tireless campaigner since his 18-year-old daughter Caroline died in February 2011.
He lobbied successfully for retailers to use different-sized mannequins in advertising and recently commended Debenhams for being the first to comply.

Mr Robertson will lead an Eating Disorders Awareness Week at Holyrood, including the launch of a single written and produced by people affected by eating disorders.
He said: "This is a hugely emotive issue for me and my family, as it is for so many families who have loved ones affected by eating disorders.
"It is also important to realise that eating disorders affect boys and young men and is not regarded as solely an issue for girls and young women. The key message must be that there are people to talk to, so don't feel alone."
