actor Liam Neeson has compared his relationship with late wife Natasha Richardson to Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers.

Speaking on a US TV show he recalled working with her in Anna Christie on Broadway in 1993. He said: "She and I were like Astaire and Rogers. We had this wonderful kind of dance, free dance on stage every night." Richardson, 45, died in 2009 of head injuries after a skiing fall. Neeson said her heart, kidneys and liver had been given to keep three other people alive.
