VISITORS will be able to walk in the footsteps of Robert Burns after three new trails were created for people interested in the sights that inspired the national Bard.
The routes have been designed for locals and tourists to visit different landscapes in south west Scotland. The trails were devised by Dumfries and Galloway Council, the Ayrshire and Arran tourism team and VisitScotland.
Nat Edwards, Director of Robert Burns Birthplace Museum, said: " These itineraries present a great chance to introduce a new generation of visitors to Burns' South West."
