A man has been arrested in connection with an alleged bank robbery in the capital.
Police said thousands of pounds were stolen in an incident at the Royal Bank of Scotland on Edinburgh's St John's Road on Monday.
A 44-year-old man has been arrested and charged. He is expected to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court today.
