MUNICH:
Bayern Munich president Uli Hoeness has admitted evading taxes via a secret Swiss bank account at a trial that could see the German football great jailed.
Prosecutor Achim von Engel told a Munich court Mr Hoeness evaded £2.9 million in taxes by concealing £27.5m in the undeclared Swiss account.
If found guilty he faces up to 10 years in prison.
