A HANDGUN found in an Orkney garden is not connected to the murder of a waiter on the island 20 years ago.
Police said a gun found in Kirkwall last July was not connected to the 1994 murder of waiter Shamsuddin Mahmood, for which former Black Watch sniper Michael Ross was sentenced in 2008.
