A piano-tuning pensioner who wanted peace and quiet after his marriage broke down is now living on a Scottish beach - together with his instrument.
Ben Treuhaft, 66, set up a big tent on Portobello Beach, Edinburgh, a week ago and he is now happily cohabiting with his upright piano.
His bed is a sleeping bag, his bathroom is a nearby swim centre and he eats at a local cafe, but the stunning sea view makes up for the bizare arrangements.

"We stay in Morningside with our two kids, but I now prefer to live in Portobello - it's the most beautiful seaside resort."
His wife, 39, who refused to be named, said: "I'm not very happy about it. I think it's unnecessary, childish and completely ridiculous. He thinks it's funny, but I don't agree with that..
"At the end of last year I asked him to get a place, so he moved out. When he first told me he wanted to live on the beach, I offered him to come back, but he refused. I'm very upset about it all."
