A BODY found on the Western Isles has been confirmed as being that of a missing hillwalker.
A search was launched for Edward Jackson, 55, from Preston, Lancashire, after he failed to return from the Maraig to Urgha path area of Harris last week. Police confirmed the body found on March 17 was that of Mr Jackson.
