The flowers in Harrison Park, Edinburgh, are the latest sign that spring has sprung, although temperatures are expected to fall slightly again over the next few days. It comes after scientists from the Met Office forecast sharp contrasts in seasonal weather, with summer temperatures soaring over the next 30 years. They say climate change is stoking up warmer summers in the UK.
