Lebanon launched a fourth round of polio immunisation yesterday, trying to prevent the disease spreading from Syria along with the tide of refugees fleeing the country. Polio protection requires several vaccinations but there is concern coverage in Lebanon has fallen because parents were unaware of the need for multiple inoculation.
