AMAN made a millionaire by a EuroMillions raffle ticket he bought in a supermarket has set off on a whirlwind global tour.

Matt Myles, 27, from Hereford, was ready to throw away his EuroMillions lottery ticket after failing to scoop the jackpot in Tuesday night's draw.

However, when the engineer checked the raffle section of his ticket he realised that he had won £1 million. He said: "I have quit my job and plan to spend the rest of the year travelling the world."
