RACING fans check out the form book as Musselburgh Racecourse made history by hosting the UK's first Good Friday turf meeting.

Kirstene Feenan and Karen Leahy were among the enthusiasts who enjoyed a flutter on a day of perfect conditions which saw organisers put up £156,000 in prize money for an eight-race card.

Biimbi, trained by William Haggas and partnered by James Sullivan, scooped the feature race.

It was a nice performance by an improving three-year-old as he swept two and a quarter lengths clear of Extra Noble in the £50,000 totepool Royal Mile Handicap.
