Three people have died in separate motorcycle and car crashes on Scotland's roads over the Easter holiday weekend.
A rider became the second fatality in two days yesterday being involved in a collision with a four-wheel drive vehicle on the A9.
It followed the death of a 33-year-old motorcyclist on Skye on Sunday morning and a woman in a car crash in Stewarton, East Ayrshire, in the evening.
In the latest accident, the motorcyclist was involved in a crash on the main route to the Highlands by the junction for the House of Bruar shopping complex.
Police are still appealing for witnesses following the earlier death of a male rider along the A87 near Loch Ainort on Skye.
No other vehicles were involved in the accident.
The woman car passenger died after two cars collided head on and a third swerved to avoid the crash and overturned on the B769 near Stewarton at about 6.35pm on Sunday.
Two 18-year-old men were travelling southbound in a Vauxhall Corsa when they collided with a northbound Peugeot 206 carrying a 64-year-old male driver and his 52-year-old female passenger.
The woman died at the scene while the Peugeot driver was taken to Crosshouse Hospital in Kilmarnock, where his condition is described as stable.
The Corsa's passenger is in a critical condition with head and shoulder injuries, while the driver is in a stable condition with shoulder and arm injuries.
A third 18-year-old man was driving a Fiat 500, which swerved and overturned.
He escaped with an arm injury and was released from Crosshouse shortly after treatment.
Police Scotland are appealing for any witnesses to contact them and a report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
