MORE than 60 youngsters aged between seven and 14 celebrate their graduation from Scotland's first Children's University.

The pupils from St Mungo's Academy and St Andrew's Secondary School in Glasgow took part in the pilot, set up by Strathclyde University, which is set to roll out to other schools in the city.

Professor Sir Jim McDonald, Chancellor of Glasgow Children's University and Principal of the University of Strathclyde, said: "By hosting Scotland's first Children's University, we can inspire them to consider further study at college or university level."
