ARTISTS are being challenged to brush up on their strokes for this year's Ryder Cup at Gleneagles.
Organisers have launched a competition to design the official poster for the battle between Europe and America's top golfers from September 23 to 28. Artist Frank Boyle teed up the event by sketching the trophy at the Mar Hall resort in Renfrewshire. The competition aims to raise awareness and support for the tournament's official charities, namely Quarriers, Friends of St Margaret's Hospital, Perth & Kinross Disability Sport and The McGinley Foundation.
