BERLIN:
The elderly recluse Cornelius Gurlitt, pictured, whose Munich apartment contained a secret hoard of art masterpieces, including works looted by the Nazis from their Jewish owners, has died following a heart operation.
Gurlitt's priceless trove of works by the likes of Canaletto, Toulouse-Lautrec and Picasso was discovered in early 2012.
