Sir David McVicar's acclaimed production of Puccini's opera will open at the Festival Theatre in Edinburgh, followed by performances at the Theatre Royal in Glasgow, Eden Court in Inverness and Her Majesty's Theatre in Aberdeen.

The national company will also visit the Grand Opera House in Belfast in mid-June, before returning to Glasgow for three additional performances in July and August to tie in with the Commonwealth Games.
