TEENAGE Fanclub, Squeeze and Alison Moyet will perform at a newly refurbished Glasgow landmark this summer.
The Kelvingrove bandstand will host two concert weekends in August, with the Waterboys, Capercaillie and Steve Earle also signed up to play.
The 90-year-old bandstand and amphitheatre in Kelvingrove Park hosted decades of live performances before it closed in 1999 due to disrepair.
Following a £2 million refurbishment, it has been chosen as the venue for the Magners Summer Nights festival, taking place August 7-10 and 14-16.
Marketing director Paul Condron said: "2014 is an incredible year for Glasgow, a city that rightly enjoys a great reputation for music.
"We're sure that Magners Summer Nights will add to this reputation and we're delighted to bring such a strong line-up of UK and international artists to the Kelvingrove bandstand.
"It's great to see the beautifully refurbished venue being used for such high-profile events for the people of Glasgow and beyond."
Capercaillie's Karen Matheson said: "We are delighted to be playing at this wonderful new festival. Kelvingrove is one of my favourite parks and the bandstand looks sensational. We cannot wait to play."
Mark Mackie, from event promoters Regular Music, said: "Creating and booking this series of shows was very easy. All we had to do was send photographs of the bandstand, and the artists we invited to play said 'yes please'."
