A SUCCESSFUL campaign by young people in care to change the law is in line for a national award.

Lobbying by Who Cares? Scotland and others, including care leaver Ashley Cameron, above, helped bring about changes which mean looked-after children will be supported for longer.

The Coalition for Continuing Care is up for the award and campaigns from SAMH, Scottish Environment Link, Enable Scotland and Prostate Cancer UK are also shortlisted for the award. The public have until the end of today to vote for the People's Choice award.

Other categories include Charity of the Year, Celebrating Communities, Charity Champion and A Sporting Chance.
