A FAMILY'S dream £500,000 home has been flattened after it breached planning rules.
The house was torn down after it was built six feet higher, nine feet longer and four feet wider than applied for by Andrew and Frances Murray. The property in Bishopbriggs, East Dunbartonshire, was built with no permit or permission in the hope of consent being granted retrospectively.
