A 55-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man's body was found at a flat.

Police were called to the property in South Bridge Row, Oxford, at 9.15am yesterday after police received a call from a person concerned about the man's welfare. Emergency services attended and the body of a man, believed to be in his 30s, was found at the property.

Detective Chief Inspector Gill Wootton said the investigation into the "unexplained death" was in its early stages. He said: "I would like to reassure the public there is no danger to the wider community at this time."
