SINGER-SONGWRITER Louise Quinn plays a ukulele in the 'eye' of a large face mask at the launch of a showcase of a selection of Scottish performances to coincide with the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

The event, which will run throughout the fringe, comprises over 29 different productions across theatre, music and dance.

The aim is to highlight dance and music that is currently being made and produced in Scotland, in a partnership between the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society, Creative Scotland, the Federation of Scottish Theatre and the Scottish Music Centre.
