Beau Duncan of Blairgowrie, Perthshire, gets stuck in to the task of tasting entries for the World Jampionships.

The event aims to find the world's best jam-maker, with entries from both amateur and professional artisan jam-makers.

There are categories for children and also male jam-makers, with the winners announced on September 6 at the Dundee Flower and Food Festival. Last year's competition attracted 300 entries from as far afield as the US and Singapore.
