ACTOR Robert Carlyle joins another star best known for some tough guy roles, Ray Winston, as they film The Long Midnight of Barney Thomson at Glasgow's world-famous Barras market yesterday.
The duo are part of a star-studded cast, including Emma Thompson, Martin Compston and Ewan Bremner who are appearing in the film based on the book of the same name.
Winston's best known for a string of roles as gangsters, including in Sexy Beast.
The Long Midnight revolves around a barber whose dull daily live is turned upside down when he stumbles into a world of murder and intrigue. WinstonDouglas Lindsay's book is making onto the big screen, some 15 years after it was first published.
