MORE than 100 news and television crews from all over the world will travel to Scotland for this month's Bannockburn Live festival.
Tourism body VisitScotland said 120 news teams would provide global coverage of the events at Stirling.
The event, organised by VisitScotland and Unique Events, is expected to welcome up to 20,000 people marking the 700th anniversary of the famous battle.
Events are to be split into five areas on June 28 and 29.
Stirling will also host a series of other events over the same weekend, including Pipefest and the UK Armed Forces Day, as part of the year of Homecoming Scotland.
Homecoming director Caroline Packman said: "We are thrilled with the Bannockburn Live programme."
Headline events at Bannockburn Live include the award-winning singer-songwriters Dougie Maclean and Julie Fowlis, as well as lifelike battle performances.
Events run from 10am to 7pm each day, and include activities from panel discussions to puppet shows.
There will be the Land Of Food And Drink, Storyville, the Clan and Family Village, the Music Arena and the 1314 Encampment.
