Style leaders Victoria and David Beckham have had a makeover - with their wax figures revamped for the first time in a decade.

New versions of the couple were unveiled at Madame Tussauds ahead of their 15th wedding anniversary on July 4, including an update of the former England footballer's tattoos.

Visitors will be able see the ink across the back of David's hand depicting his wife's name - addition to his collection of tattoos since the figures were last redone in 2004.

His new model wears a smart Hugo Boss black suit and tie, with his hair swept to the side, while Victoria wears a magenta crepe dress from her own ready-to-wear collection.

They have taken their place with A-list stars in the party area of the London attraction alongside Hollywood couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie and other well-known actors such as Dame Helen Mirren, Daniel Craig and Kate Winslet.

Matthew Clarkson, marketing manager for Tussauds, said: "They are uniquely talented individuals who have succeeded in their respective fields to become true international icons. We are sure that they will be a huge hit with guests, and we can't wait for fans to get a chance to get up close and meet them."
