Doors open to world of fun
BETTY Watson, 94, pictured right, plays with 21-month-old Lilygrace McGhee, watched by daughter Anne Findlay, as part of a scheme to encourage care homes to open their doors to the community.
Ms Watson is a resident of Douglas View Care Home in Hamilton which was taking part in National Care Home Open Day.
Health Secretary Alex Neil said: "Care homes should be as open and accessible as possible, encouraging residents to get involved in activities and also ensuring friends and family are encouraged to visit."
