MIAMI Vice actor Don Johnson was all smiles on the red carpet at the Edinburgh International Film Festival.

The star was at Cineworld for a screening of his latest film Cold in July, a crime drama written by Jim Mickle. It is an adaptation of a book by Joe R. Lansdale and stars Michael C. Hall as Richard Dane, a store owner who, one night, kills an intruder in his home and is then stalked by the man's father, an ex-con played by veteran playwright and actor Sam Shepard.

Cold In July opens on June 27.
