The official anniversary of the Battle of Bannockburn falls today and tomorrow, as the battle between the Scots, led by Robert the Bruce, and the English took place on June 23-24. Bannockburn Live will take place next weekend in the grounds of the National Trust for Scotland's Battle of Bannockburn centre near Stirling, with a highlight being the thrice-daily battle re-enactments.
