SIR Paul McCartney is at the centre of a row over plans to remove 300 lorry loads of timber a year from his estate along single-track roads.
Residents near the former Beatle's High Park Farm in Kintyre fear they have reached "saturation point" with heavy lorries, which they claim pose a risk to locals.
Sir Paul's management company said the plans were in the interest of good forestry management.
