The brother of cancer charity hero Stephen Sutton has achieved a first-class honours degree after sitting his final university exams following his sibling's death.
In a statement posted on the Stephen's Story Facebook page, Stephen's mother Jane confirmed Christopher Sutton had averaged about 87 per cent during his four-year course in mathematics and mathematical physics.
Mrs Sutton, from Burntwood, Staffordshire, wrote: "Everyone knows how amazing Stephen was. However, I also have another amazing son, Christopher, who has been studying for the past four years at University College London."
She added: "Congratulations Chris, you're a star, or 'awesome', which is how Stephen would have described you."
