Dolly Parton stole the show as the curtain came down on the Glastonbury Music Festival.

The 68-year-old country singer delighted thousands of fans on the main stage who had earlier in the weekend watched bands such as Metallica and Arcade Fire.

Wearing pristine white cowboy gear in the Somerset field, she ploughed through some of best known songs including Two Doors Down and Here You Come Again, along with a duet with Bon Jovi's Richie Sambora for Lay Your Hands on Me. She said: "I'm just a country girl and now I feel like a rock star."
