l Glasgow Airport Rail Link. A direct rail link from Paisley to Glasgow Airport - £144.3 million.

l Pan Lanarkshire Orbital Transport Corridor. Road capacity and bus improvements around major towns - £119.7m.

l Govan and Clyde Waterfront Regeneration. Building on creative quarter around BBC HQ & Hydro Arena - £113.9m.

l City Centre Public Realm. New Glasgow traffic management, bus priority and local cycle infrastructure - £199.2m.

l Clyde Waterfront & Renfrew Riverside. Possible road connection between Renfrew and Yoker - £78.3m.

l Community Growth Areas. New homes in East Kilbride, Hamilton and Newton - £62.3m.

l M77 Strategic Corridor. New green bus lane and new park and ride facilities - £44m.

l Gartcosh Community Growth Area. Development of roads infrastructure aimed at improving transport links to the area - £43.8m.

l Cathkin Bypass. New relief road and quality bus measures through Cathkin - £21.6m.

l Exxon Site. Development of former Esso Petroleum Company) close to the main Glasgow to Dumbarton Railway line - £27.9m.

l Greenock Ocean Terminal. Extension of quay and development of derelict land for cruise liner tourism - £14.2m.

l Strathclyde Bus Investment. Fast link corridors, smart ticketing technology and designated bus lanes - £30m.

l Collegelands Calton Barras Action Plan. Includes station upgrade to High Street, and to other public realm improvements - £27m.

PROPOSED WORK SCHEMES

l Project to assist people on Employment Support Allowance. Department of Work and Pensions to make £4.5m available over t hree years as a 50 per cent contribution towards the cost of the project.

l Progression Pilot. DWP to provide support of around £300,000 towards a pilot to support new employees.

l Youth Employment. DWP to work with local authorities to review way in which young people are supported by DWP. No funding implications at present.
