A CIVILIAN police worker is facing 100 charges of allegedly accessing police systems and crime reports.
Robert Brown, 39, is accused of accessing personal information between January and July 2011 on the crime management system by looking up and reading a crime report relating to a female, for non-policing purposes, and printing the report.
The force support worker - whose crimes were allegedly carried out at the force's Communications and Technology Complex at Helen Street in Glasgow - is accused of stealing the crime report relating to the female on July 24, 2011.
Brown is accused of providing a copy of the crime report to another woman, for non-policing purposes.
The other 97 charges dating between September 2008 and April 2014 include allegedly accessing police systems and viewing information for non-policing purposes.
Papers from Glasgow Sheriff Court allege Brown accessed the systems "knowingly or recklessly and without the consent of the data controller", who is the chief constable.
Brown was not present when the case called and the hearing was continued until later this month without any plea being tendered.
A spokesman from Police Scotland confirmed Brown was a support worker.
