JUDY Murray shows her delight at a portrait completed by Gerard Burns as part of a fundraising exhibition.

The tennis coach was painted by Burns for his 14 for 14 project, a series of artworks of individuals he has admired for their achievements.

Others to feature in the series, which will go on display later this month at Clydesdale Bank's office in St Vincent Street, Glasgow, include Dr Fraser Inglis and Ewan McGregor.

The proceedings from the sale of each painting will go to a charity of the subject's choice.

Born in Glasgow in 1961, Burns graduated from Glasgow School of Art in 1983 with a degree in Fine Art. He said he decided to complete the 14 for 14 project because it was such a landmark year for Scotland.
