PHILANTHROPIST Sir Tom Hunter did a double take when he came face to face with a painting of himself that is due to be exhibited at a charity art show this summer.

The businessman is one of 14 inspirational Scots who sat for artist Gerard Burns.

Mr Burns chose subjects who are at the "top of their game," and who have made a significant contribution to other people or have shown grace in the face of adversity.

Others who have sat for him include actor Ewan McGregor and the prominent clinician and founder of the Glasgow Memory Clinic, Dr Fraser Inglis.

The '14 for 14' show is being staged at the Clydesdale Bank's St Vincent Street HQ, in Glasgow.
