THE efforts of people from Asian, African and Caribbean Commonwealth countries in working with the RAF from the First World War to the present day is recognised in a free new exhibition.

The RAF and The Commonwealth at the Mitchell Library in Glasgow charts their heroism and bravery.

It was officially opened yesterday by Air Commodore Chris Luck, Commandant of the Royal Air Force College Cranwell.

It runs until September 27.
