GRACE Martin models an exquisite necklace which has been handmade in Scotland as it is unveiled in an Edinburgh fashion store.

The White Stuff in George Street is, until August 23, showcasing 32 craftmakers, at the Craft Scotland Summer School organised by the charity. In addition to jewellery, textiles and homeware are also being displayed and are available for sale. The pictured piece is by Grainne Morton, who is based in the capital, and has made her living from manufacturing jewellery from objects she has collected. Craft Scotland provides an online portal for people interested in the field and the chance to connect with those involved in the work. It is organising events for the summer show, including competitions to encourage public interest in craft.
