ARTIST Gary Baseman delves into his art installation Mythical Homeland which is part of Edinburgh Art Festival.

It uses drawings, paintings, photographs and a documentary set round a forest to represent the Polish landscape where Baseman's father fled during the Second World War. It is described as an interpretation of the history of Jews, and a reflection on Baseman's family's past. It is the first time the Los Angeles-based artist has held a solo exhibition in the UK and it is on until September 26 at Summerhall.
