Glamorous Jerry Hall says she has held on to her looks despite doing all the wrong things, such as smoking and boozing.

The Texan model has also ruled out dabbling with cosmetic procedures such as Botox to hold back the hands of time.

In an interview with Good Housekeeping magazine, Hall said: "I am very against it. I think it looks silly - people with mean-looking eyebrows."

Reflecting on her own appearance, she said: "I am 58. That is pretty old, for God's sake. I look pretty good for my age, and I am enjoying that. But I smoke, I drink, I like wine, I love sun tanning, I drink coffee - I am doing all sorts of things I shouldn't do."

The former wife of Rolling Stones frontman Sir Mick Jagger also told how she feels much happier than she has in the past.

"I do, because I think you feel less stressed at my age. You are not so bothered - everything is water off a duck's back.

"It is something that happens with age - I am not bothered about anything. What will happen will happen."

And she praised her children for rallying around their father following the suicide of his long-term partner L'Wren Scott earlier this year, and attending the funeral.

Hall said: "They were so good, I was so proud of them. All the children went - just giving him a lot of love and support. It was very traumatic for the whole family.

"It is a horrible thing, suicide - you can never figure that out. We all got on really well, peace was reigning. It was a shock for the whole family, and Mick was just devastated - it was a big shock for him."

Hall, who was a contestant on BBC1's Strictly Come Dancing two years ago, also talked about her new boyfriend Armand Leroi, saying: "He is lovely and very clever and very handsome. I am really, really happy."
