THE parents of a seven-year-old boy who was engulfed in flames as he played with friends are demanding a fatal accident inquiry into the incident.
Preston Flores was burned from the neck down in the incident in Aberdeen on April 18, and later died in hospital.
His parents, Keith Will, 32, and Luisza Flores, 33, said there were unanswered questions about the "worrying circumstances " of the incident, which involved two other children and a local authority works van.
The couple, who are suing Aberdeen City Council for negligence, claiming the authority and Police Scotland kept them in the dark about investigations.
