PROFESSOR June Andrews of Stirling University has been rewarded for her work helping older people.

Professor Andrews, director of Stirling University dementia services development centre, right, pictured with fellow director Shirley Law, has been awarded a fellowship by the Royal College of Nursing. It is the RCN's highest honour and goes to members who are registered nurses who have made an exceptional contribution to nursing and health care. Since 1976 fewer than 160 UK nurses and midwives have been awarded it.
