Edinburgh Heriot Watt University student Andrew Paterson jokingly posed for photos of himself renewing his part-time contract with the supermarket in the style of footballer's signing announcements.
Agreeing to work weekend shifts, the youngster is pictured signing the paper and holding up his uniform top like a football shirt.

The post got over 18,000 retweets as many users rushed to congratulate him - including a tweet from Asda's Service Team.
With the amount of publicity the supermarket will be getting, we think he's due a pay rise for this one.
