It is an event that welcomes the slightly weird and the wonderful - both in terms of the stall-holders and their wares.

For the Royal Highland Centre's bi-annual antiques fair is set to return to Ingliston, offering visitors another weekend of discovering, haggling, and downright merry-making.

Over 200 stall-holders exhibiting wares ranging from mid-century china to vintage clothing to military collectables will congregate to sell their goods to the public. The event will take place in the centre's Lowland Hall and is expected to attract 3500 bargain-hunters over the duration of the two days.

Complementary bus services run from Edinburgh city centre to the event throughout the course of the weekend.

The antiques weekender is latest in the centre's packed events roster for 2015, which also includes a quilt festival, Scottish Kennel Club competitions, and supercar gift experiences.

The Royal Highland Centre's Antiques fair will run May 9 - 10.
